At the very least, the motives are predictable? What sci-fi novel doesn't have them coming here for resources? It's honestly no different than what we do.

I think I'm in the same boat. Things would be more interesting and easier with them, but they wouldn't do well here. All their bad tendencies would come out.

Just 3/4ths of the population or so is gone. So not a great win.
Yeah, maybe. I like the idea of writing it with a happy ending. I'm really hoping for some of mankind to make it.
